Continuity of care experience program helps the midwifery students to provide care during pregnancy, labor, and after birth. Continuity of care establishes an ongoing relationship between the midwifery student and the woman. It initiates at early weeks of pregnancy and continues till the postnatal period. The student should support the individual woman and her families throughout the program. During the CCE program, the midwifery student should attend a minimum of four antenatal visit and two postnatal visits, assess the screening test and supports during the delivery.

It improves the different perspective of knowledge and skills of midwifery student. The students also learn about time management and clinical documentation. CCE program increases the professional relationship between the students and woman.
