Before starting answering four corners of emotional health 1st of all we have to know about emotional health.

EMOTIONAL HEALTH =emotional health is a state of emotional and psychological well_being in which an individual is able to use his or her cognitive and emotional capabilities , function in society , and meet the ordinary demands of everyday life . (Cognitive capabilities means _ ability of an individual to perform the various mental activities most closely associated with learning and problem solving)

Emotional health refers to how you deal with life and its ups and down.

For example _when you lose some loved person (like father) in that situation how you copeup with the situatiob and get back to your normal life .

Now what is emotion?

Emotion is a strong feeling deriving from one's corcumstances , mood or relationships with others .

Some examples of emotions are ==

* happiness

* sadness

* sexual arousal

* anger

* fear

Now comes to four corner of emotional health are as follows=

1. self esteem or self awareness .

2. self_management or emotional regulation .

3.social awareness .

4. relationship management skill.

SELF ESTEEM OR SELF AWARENESS

Self esteem or self awareness means self evaluation ,i.e positive or negetive evaluation of the self . Self esteem is the influential predictor of certain outcome , such as academic achievement ,happiness , satisfaction etc .

SELF MANAGEMENT OR EMOTIONAL REGULATION

It is the process of choosing emotions according to the situation. In this process a person can take decision and act accordingly . Emotional regulation means regulation of one's own feeling and react accordingly to an action which should be socially tolerable and sufficiently flexible .

example=1.cheering yourself up by doing something enjoyable.

2.calming down an over excited child.

SOCIAL AWARENESS

Social awareness means to understand how to react on different social situations, how to interect with society. Social awareness can be improved by empathy,i.e the ability to understand and share the feelings of another. Listen other , try to understand others feeling and act according their amotion.

example your room-mate is crying -being socially aware go and ask her what happened why she is crying and if possible try to help her in solving her problem.

RALATIONSHIP MANAGEMENT SKILL

Improving relationahip with other. Relationship mangement means how you can maintain relationship with other with your team , work as a leader and inspire other , help other , influence other in positive direction and build bond with other , participate in team work .

example In your college you got the community project work which is a team work and you are the leader. Here you can develop good relatio with your team members and also bad relation .

Now its your choice how to act and how to manage your relationship.

These upper mentioned four component or corner of emotional health decide the emotional health . By maintaining these four corner we xan get the emotional health.
