1) The NSCBNs guidelines for social media use: The use of social media and other electronic communication is expanding exponentially as the number of social media oulets platforms aapplication avialble to continue to increase, nurses can use the social media in their personal life and nurses can positively use electronic media to share workplace experiences particularly those events that are challenging or emotionally charged and it is imperative not to mention patients by name or provide any information or details that could possibly identified them in order to protects patients right to privacy , here in this issues is that the nurse has mentioned the name of the patient visitior name who is famous and this leads to breach in the patient confidentiality and violation of patient privacy. 2)In this issue the improper use of social media by nurses may violate state and federal laws established to protect patient privaccy and confidentiality such violations may result in both civil and criminal penalities including fines and possible jail time and a nurse may facce personal liability and be individually sued for defamation , invasion of privacy and also it can raise liability under state or federal regulations focused on preventing patient abuse or expolitation.
