1.CLOAZAPINE- It is an atypical antipsychotic drug used in the treatment of Schizophrenia and Schizoaffective disorder. Its common side effects include Hypotension, tachycardia, sedation with high doses, heartburn, nausea, vomiting, and weight gain. Clozapine may rarely cause EPS(Extrapyramidal Symptoms), delirium, insomnia, slurred speech, weakness. hyperglycemia and parkinsonism. In very rare cases prolonged use may cause a very serious life-threatening condition called Neuroleptic Malignant Syndrome(NMS).
It is available as tablets, dissolving tablets, oral suspensions, and as injections, with the most commonly used form is the tablet form.
2.SERTRALINE - It is an antidepressant that comes under the classification of SSRI (selective serotonin Reuptake Inhibitors).Sertraline affects chemicals in the brain that may be unbalanced in people with depression, panic, anxiety, or obsessive-compulsive symptoms. Common side effects are nausea, loss of appetite, diarrhea, and indigestion change in sleep habits, including increased sleepiness and insomnia, increased sweating, sexual problems, including decreased sex drive and ejaculation failure, tremor or shaking, tiredness and fatigue, agitation. It takes some time for the treatment to become effective after soem initial days patient's symptoms may get worse . It iis available as tablets and oral solution. This drug can be tatken with or without food.
3.The aminoglycosides are broad-spectrum, bactericidal antibiotics that are commonly prescribed for children, primarily for infections caused by Gram-negative pathogens.
The aminoglycosides include gentamicin, amikacin, tobramycin, neomycin, and streptomycin. Common Side Effects are damage to the hearing structures in the ear, resulting in hearing loss. Damage to the inner ear, resulting in trouble maintaining balance.
