I used to work at an FM station, I was responsible for designing and implementing training program for the employees inside the workplace. Training program was implemented without any time limitation but with a passive limit of 2 week which would be extended up on the requirement of the training program. Later it was found that employees were taking a training program lightly and they were not focusing on creating adequate actions.
Later I analyse the situation and focus on limiting the time to fix 14 days time to implement specified goals. This type of approved was proven to be more effective and employees also shown positive results about learning new activities which help them to be more productive inside the workplace.
After putting a limit and giving a deadline for the training program the results were definitely much better and optimum then using a passive limit on the employees. This type of approach helped me to create some more effective training program inside the workplace.
