What is workforce diversity?
Workforce diversity means the type of differences or resemblance between the employees of an organization regarding their demographic characteristics like age, sex, caste, religion practiced, etc. It is quite important to have a workforce diversity since diversification is a part of human life and no two persons have the same capability. Intelligence, skill sets, experience, ideas will vary, so organizations will definitely be benefited as all the employees does not have the same characteristics. The type of work and the problems faced by the organizations are varied and so different types of workforce will be a boon for the organization in terms of work and problem solving.

My country is that of a secular, democratic country and the people are practicing different types of religions, lifestyles, food habits, climate etc. There is a huge workforce diversity.
People are working together and having unity in diversity. This is a good practice as different people from different economic and social backgrounds are sharing their views, which led to the prosperity of the organization. If in my type of country, there is no diversity and only a single type of criteria for job are preferred, it will have led to huge conflicts between the people.
Conclusion-
Workplace diversity is very encouraging practice for any workplace, but at the same time the organizations should ensure that nobody felt left out and everybody should be provided with the same respect, and opportunity.
