(Ans) Given that in a Scholl Soccer league with seven teams.
Now to find the ways that they can they finish in the positions: winner ,runner-up and third place. Let it be N ways.
Number of ways that the team that can finish as the winner is 7 ways. Also the team can finish in the 2nd place is 6 ways leaving the team that is winner. And also the team can finish in the third place is 5 ways leaving the teams that are winner and runner-up.
Therefore number of ways to finish in the positions: winner , runner-up and third place is N= 7×6×5= 210 ways
