Question:

Please explain this math question to me!
6(4) ÷ 2 − 1 + 5

Answers

Use your order of operations. Parentheses first. You don't have any exponents so you do multiplication and division next from left to right just don't do addition or subtraction yet. After the multiplying and dividing is complete add and subtract from left to right!!!

6 times 4 is 24, divided by 2 is 12, minus 1 is 11, plus 5 is 16.
