Answers
The Great Compromise was a agreement made between large and small states which partly defined the representation each state would have under the United States Constitution, as well as in legislator. The 3/5th Compromise was to count three out of every five slaves as people. Its purpose was to give the Southern states a third more seats in Congress and a third more electoral votes than if slaves ad been ignored. The Slave Trade Compromise gave Congress power to ban slave trade, but not until 1800. The convention later voted to extend the year to 1808. A final major issue involving slavery confronted the delegates; Southern states wanted other states to return escaped slaves.
